Product

Your team’s work, connected in one place.

N-Relay connects teams, projects, and files naturally — all within a single screen.

Teams and messages

Conversations that stay organized.

Talk in teams, reply in threads, react, pin, and @mention a colleague, @team, or @everyone. Direct messages cover one-to-one conversations.

  • Thread replies keep the main conversation clear
  • Reactions, pins, and mentions
  • Messages appear in real time

Projects and sub-projects

Give every project a home.

Organize work into projects and sub-projects. Each has its own conversation, files, and members, filed under the team it belongs to.

  • Three levels: team › project › sub-project
  • A conversation and file list per project
  • Deleted projects can be restored for a set period

Files

Keep files next to the work.

Share files of up to 1.5 GB in any conversation and find them again in one place. Preview PDFs and videos without downloading them.

  • Up to 1.5 GB per file
  • In-app preview for PDFs, videos, and images
  • External share links when you need them

Social-spaces

Move between organizations with ease.

A social-space is an organization’s home in N-Relay: its people, teams, and projects in one place. Belong to several and switch between them from the rail.

  • Switch spaces in one click
  • Search messages, files, and people
  • Notifications in the app, by email, and as push

Workflow

From conversations to organized work.

From a discussion, to a project, to the files and the next step. Select a stage to follow the flow.

A team starts a discussion

Move the conversation forward in a team thread and bring people in with @team.

Organize it as a project

Right-click a team in the sidebar to create a project or sub-project right where you are.

Related files come together

Files gather in the project’s file list, with in-place preview for PDFs and videos.

The next step is clear

Follow tasks with owners, priorities, and due dates on a board or timeline.

Why N-Relay

Choose a workspace that fits the way your team works.

N-Relay is a particularly good fit for teams like these.

  • You organize work by project

Each project and sub-project keeps its own conversation, files, and members together.

  • You want tasks and dates in the same place

Track tasks in List, Board, or Timeline view, and see meetings and deadlines next to the shared company calendar.

  • Your team works across languages

The app is available in 日本語, English, हिन्दी, and Bahasa Indonesia, and can translate colleagues’ messages into your language.

  • You’re moving from Slack

Bring an existing Slack workspace across — members, channels, and history — and keep it in sync while your team moves over (admin feature).

  • You want familiar sign-in

Sign in with a Microsoft account, a Google account, or a one-time code sent to your email.

  • You want meetings on the record Subscription

Live meetings are transcribed and translated in real time, with a transcript to download afterwards.

Moving from Slack

From Slack to N-Relay, without starting over.

Teams on Slack can switch smoothly. Bring your channels, conversation history, and files into N-Relay, and live sync keeps new Slack activity flowing in while everyone moves over.

  1. 1

    Connect

An admin connects your Slack workspace to an N-Relay social-space, and can preview the counts before importing anything.

  2. 2

    Bring everything across

Members, public and private channels, message history with threads and reactions, and files. Channels become teams, and private channels stay private.

  3. 3

    Run both with live sync

New messages, replies, reactions, edits, and deletes posted in Slack during the move appear in N-Relay automatically, so both can run side by side until everyone has switched.

  • Running it again adds only what is missing, without duplicates
  • Imported messages carry an “Imported from Slack” badge

Migration and sync are a social-space admin feature. Direct messages are not migrated. On Slack’s Free plan, importable history is limited to what Slack makes available (about 90 days).

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is N-Relay?

N-Relay is a team collaboration tool that brings conversations, projects, tasks, and files together. It organizes work-related communication around teams and projects.

How can a team get started?

Open the web app and sign in with a Microsoft account, a Google account, or a one-time code sent to your email. Social-spaces are invitation-only, so ask the admin of the space you want to join for an invitation, or create your own space where your account allows it.

Is N-Relay available on iPhone?

Yes. You can download the N-Relay iOS app from the App Store. It supports push notifications.

How does N-Relay compare with Slack and Microsoft Teams?

N-Relay places projects and sub-projects under each team, each with its own conversation and files, and includes built-in task management. Slack and Microsoft Teams each have their own strengths, so please review the comparison above alongside each vendor’s official information.

Can we migrate from Slack?

Yes. When a social-space admin connects your Slack workspace, N-Relay imports members, public and private channels, message history with threads and reactions, and files. During the move, live sync brings new Slack activity into N-Relay automatically. Direct messages are not migrated.

How are projects and files organized?

Projects appear under the team they belong to, with sub-projects beneath them. Every project has its own conversation and file list, and deleted projects can be restored from the bin for a set period.

Which languages does the application support?

The N-Relay app supports Japanese, English, Hindi, and Indonesian. This promotional site is available in Japanese and English.

How can team members be invited?

Owners and admins of a social-space invite people by email from the space settings. When an invited person signs in, they join the space automatically.
